Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
This policy explains what personal data OverflowForge ("we") collects when you use overflowforge.com and the OverflowForge app, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, never your full card details.
- Content you create: projects, site content, articles, tracked prompts and settings.
- Leads from your sites: when visitors submit a contact or booking form on a site we host for you, we store what they submit and send it to you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it.
- Usage data: basic logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service: building sites, generating content, running AI visibility scans and delivering leads to you.
- To bill you and to send service emails (verification, password reset, lead notifications).
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use your content to train AI models.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help run OverflowForge, under their own data-protection terms: our hosting and database providers, Cloudflare (CDN), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), DataForSEO (search and AI-answer data — we send keywords and prompts, not personal data), and AI model providers such as DeepSeek, OpenAI and Anthropic (we send the text needed to generate content).
Cookies
The app uses a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. This marketing site doesn't use tracking cookies.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records by law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time by emailing hello@overflowforge.com. If you're in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
